WSOP events for $1 500

At the end of January, WSOP organizers announced the schedule of high roller tournaments which would be held as part of WSOP 2020.

Yesterday, the full schedule of WSOP events with $1 500 buy-ins which collected the largest player pools, was announced.

WSOP Vice President Jack Effel said that $1 500 buy-in could be called the middle ground in poker. The organizers continue to create the conditions which allow everyone to find an appropriate game.

This year, 25 events for $1 500 will be held: 10 NLH tournaments, and 12 events out of 25 ones will be conducted in a freezeout format.

The starting stack for all $1 500 tournaments will amount to 25 000 chips.

Last year, the eight tournaments with $1 500 buy-ins were held. On average, they collected 3 332 entries and $4 498 000 prize pool. The winner was able to get $642 000 for the first place.

In total, 81 events will be held as part of WSOP 2020. 17 new events will also be conducted at WSOP 2020. The series will start on May 27 and it will last until 15 July.
