Who has earned over $10 million in live tournaments year to date?
If someone still has doubts whether poker game is a good way to earn money, then he/she can take a look at the following list of poker players who have earned more than $10 000 000 year to date.
Bryn Kenney is, more than ever, successful in tournament poker in 2019. Since the beginning of the year, Bryn has earned about $30 000 000 in live tournaments. Moreover, the poker player received $20 000 000 of this amount for finishing second in the most expensive event in poker history. Thanks to this, he now tops the list of the most profitable players, having beaten Justin Bonomo.
In heads-up, Kenney lost to Aaron Zang, who received $16 000 000 for the first place (according to the heads-up deal). Thus, the Chinese poker player has also entered our list.
The third player who has managed to obtain over $10 million this year is Stephen Chidwick. The guy improves his game with every passing year and gets victory after victory. Since January, he has earned around $12 000 000 and this is not the end of the line.
Dan Smith keeps up with his colleagues. He’s received $10 770 000 from tournament winnings this year. Paul Phua and Hossein Ensan complete the top six: the first player regularly gets into the cash at the Triton Poker high roller tournaments, and the second one - took down the Main Event WSOP 2019.
For now, this list includes only six players, but there are still four months of tournament poker ahead, meaning more people may be added to the list.
