During the short existence of the US Poker Open, nine events were held and it was Stephen Chidwick who won three of these competitions. The situation occurred again yesterday: the guy took part in the $10 000 NLH tournament and managed to beat a 90-player field.
In heads-up, British guy was confronted by American poker player Sean Winter. The battles in the final action did not last long: Chidwick collected straight pretty quickly, and his opponent – assembled set. Both players went all-in. As a result, Stephen finished first and got $216 000 as prize money. Sean became a runner-up of the tournament and was given $157 500 for the second place.
«I kept running as I did last year, this is my favorite place to play in the world by far, and I came in focused and ready to play my best», said Stephen.
