Tom Dwan appeared at the WSOP 2019
Time for a prestigious poker game at the WSOP 2019 has become. The Poker Players Championship with a $50K buy-in is one of the most interesting WSOP events. The tournament started yesterday and attracted 74 participants.
The best players gathered to fight for one of the most important trophies, as well as for a part of $3 552 000 prize pool.
Tom “durrr” Dwan, well-known poker professional and current Triton Poker ambassador, does not often please public with his presence at poker events of late. He hasn’t cashed at the World Serious of Poker for 8 years. The player wanted to change such a statistic this year and decided to take part in the aforementioned tournament.
Dwan informed about his presence at the WSOP 2019 by writing the following post on his Twitter page:

The guy joined the game in time of late registration, but unfortunately, Tom failed and left the competition during the final level of day 2. His playing lasted only around 5 hours. Such famous professionals as Bryn Kenney, Justin Bonomo, Daniel Negreanu, Eli Elezra, Dan Smith, Stephen Chidwick, Gus Hansen also lost a chance to fight for the trophy.
Currently, there are 38 players left in the game. Another iconic player Phil Ivey takes leading position in the event; he has a 1 254000-chip stack. The play will resume tomorrow at the blinds 12 000/24 000.
