Stadium Series Afterparty: the player turned $1 into $7 500
Stadium Series at PokerStars was extended with additional tournaments called "Afterparty". On Sunday, three finals for $1, $11 and $109 were held, and the Ukrainian players became the winners in two of them.
First, the Ukrainian player under the nickname "Sultanchik" won $109 event and earned $100 000 for the first place. The second winner "Hagautama" got a much more modest payout on Sunday. However, given the fact that buy-in for the tournament was only $1.1, the winning of $7 500 can be called an excellent reward for the victory.
To cover $100 000 guarantee, the poker room had to collect 100 000 entries for this tournament. Nevertheless, in a week only 65 111 players stated their willingness to participate in event. This led to another overlay at PokerStars in the amount of $35 000.
6 515 players entered the prize zone and the minimum payout reached the mark of just $4. The closer to the final table, the bigger prize money was for the participants of given tournament.
