The champion of WSOP PLO Event #66

Another bracelet tournament finished at World Series of Poker. Event #66 for $800 was held in pot-limit Omaha discipline and there were 1 281 participants willing to fight in this tournament. In general, the participants formed a prize pool of $973 560.

The Irishman Toby Joyce took the lion’s share of this amount. He became the winner of tournament and earned $139 000 of prize money, as well as a gold bracelet. The champion was also awarded an additional prize: WSOPE package.

A large number of famous players got into ITM zone: Chris Moorman, Ryan Riess, Brian Rast and others. All of them got several thousand dollars in prize money, but they didn’t manage to achieve their main goal to play in the final table. Only top nine players of this tournament reached final table.

In heads-up, Toby Joyce fought against the American player Mark Herm. However, the victory, gold bracelet and big prize money were given to Toby Joyce. In the last hand of tournament, his A-Q-J-10 appeared to be stronger than Herm's A-K-8-8:
