PLO tournament of Poker Masters series with $10 000 buy-in finished. The event collected 62 entries and many famous poker players took part in it.
Anthony Zinno, who recently played at WSOPE Main Event final table, finished this tournament in the 9th place. The current champion of Poker Masters Ali Imsirovic knocked him out of the game. The American player earned $18 000 for the 9th place.
After that, two more poker players left the game and only six players remained in the tournament and formed the final table. Ryan Laplante was the player for whom everyone hunted, because he had a very short stack. Despite this, he managed to win the tournament.
Ryan shared his impression of the tournament:
"This tournament series as a whole is obviously very tough, playing against some of the best players in the world. The structure, however, is built to be pretty fast and especially in a game like PLO it’s a real battle and you’re constantly going for it. I tried my best to get into good situations and make thin bluffs, but honestly, I just ran really well and that’s required to win any tournament".
In heads-up, Ryan Laplante beat Chance Kornuth and earned $186 000. In turn, the runner-up of event got $124 000 for the second place. Ryan carefully prepared for the finale and thanked Phil Galfond for his analysis of WCOOP final:

I strongly believe that if you want to play PLO at a high level that watching Phil's @RunItOncePoker videos is the easiest and 1 of the best ways to learn.
