PokerStars introduced Swap Holdem cash games

Swap Holdem 2020

PokerStars is constantly introducing new poker formats, which are well appreciated among the players. In November, Cardmates wrote that Stars were going to launch a new kind of cash game called Swap Holdem.

The Swap Holdem cash games are already available in the PokerStars lobby. In them, poker players can change their pocket cards to new ones from the deck. This is the only distinction from the classic Hold'em rules.

This feature is accessible to all players, and it is free of charge. It’s possible to change either two hole cards or just one card. The exchange can be made at any street (from preflop to river) during your turn.

How to find Swap Holdem in the poker lobby

It is not difficult to find the new cash game format at PokerStars. To do this, enter the poker client and open the Swap Hold'em tab. Right after this, Swap Holdem tables will become available for playing.

The players are offered 9 different buy-ins. The minimal fee charged for participation equals to $5, and the maximal one is $2 000.

After the poker player selects a buy-in and clicks on the "Start" button, the seating arrangements will occur in blind. Thus, you can’t choose a particular game table.

The game in Swap Holdem takes place at 6-max tables, and in order to exchange cards you, need to click on the "SWAP" button. You can determine whether your opponent has changed cards or not with the icon next to his avatar. It is only possible to exchange cards once during a hand.

The new type of cash games is available on all devices, except for iOS. Test the new poker format from PokerStars and win big.
