PokerStars hosts direct satellites to the PSPC 2020

PokerStars hosts six online satellites to the PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC). This year, the exclusive tournament will be held August 20 through 24 in Barcelona.

You can participate in the online satellites by paying a buy-in of €1 050. There is also a grid of qualifying tournaments with an entry fee equal to €0,55, through which it is possible to get into the online satellite.

The first of six tournaments took place on February 16. It collected 57 entries and €57 000 prize pool, which is equivalent to two Platinum Passes cost $30 000 (nearly €26 500). The poker players, who took the third and the fourth places, received €2 000 each.

The next online satellite will be carried out on March 1 at 8:30 pm (GMT). If your bankroll doesn’t allow you to pay €1 050 entry fee, then you are also able to enter the event through the grid of satellites with affordable buy-ins – from €0,55 to €109. The ticket to the online qualifier (final satellite) can be only won in qualifying tournaments worth €55 and €109.

How to find satellites to PSPC in the PokerStars lobby

PokerStars users can find the qualifiers in the "Tourney" tab, which is located in the lobby of the game client.

  • satellites for €0.55 run daily at 3:35 pm, 4:35 pm and 5:35 pm (GMT). In each of them, at least one entry to the satellite for 5,5 euros is raffled;
  • €5,5 qualifying tournaments take place at 4:15 pm, 5:15 pm, 6:15 pm and 6:45 pm (GMT) on daily basis;
  • satellites cost €55 are held every day at 4:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm (GMT);
  • €109 qualifiers take place once a day at 8:00 pm (GMT).

In addition, you can win a ticket to the €55 satellite in the freeroll at PokerStars. The participant of the free tournament has the opportunity to make rebuy and add-on for €0.11. The next freerolls will be held on February 29 and March 10 at 3:30 pm (GMT).
