The return of the popular tournament was no lack of difficulties. Thus, the poker room cancelled the first partypoker MILLION, which had to take place on November 3, 2019, due to some glitches in the game client.
Nevertheless, the tournament was eventually held a week later (on November 10, 2019) with an overlay amounting to almost $70 000 (7% of the announced guarantee). All subsequent events partypoker MILLION also failed to beat the warranty.
New tournament grid PartyPoker MILLION
Cheaper versions of the tournament, such as Micro and Mini, have been removed from the PartyPoker MILLION lobby. The $22 satellites were also abolished. Instead of the usual qualifying satellites, the players will be able to get to the tournament with a millionth guarantee for free, thanks to phased tournaments.
In order to receive the opportunity to enter the PartyPoker MILLION for free, you can participate in one of 14 freerolls that daily take place at PartyPoker from 08:00 am to 10:00 pm (GMT). By playing the freeroll, you get the opportunity to compete for one of 250 tickets of the PartyPoker MILLION Phase 1 worth $2.20.
Next, the player will need to survive 19 levels lasting 3 minutes each for moving to Phase 2. Tournaments of Phase 1 are held Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm (GMT), and from 9:00 am to 00:00 am (GMT) on Sunday. All players who were able to get through all 19 levels will automatically receive a ticket to Phase 2 worth $22.
The Phase 2 (final satellites) to PartyPoker MILLION with a buy-in of $22 will take place on daily basis as well. Those who manage to complete 19 levels of 5 minutes each will enter the first day of the PartyPoker MILLION tournament.
