The quarantine measures related to coronavirus led to significant losses in most major casinos.

The gambling establishments in Macau were the first to suffer from pandemic, and they showed a record drop in their income.

The gambling establishments in Las Vegas were not spared the given disaster. The Governor of Nevada closed all gambling establishments in the state at the end of March.

Recently, the Mayor of Las Vegas Carolyn Goodman encouraged the US government to weaken the quarantine measures and allow the operation of gambling establishments in Las Vegas and Nevada.

The director of Synergy Blue gambling company Joseph Bunevith showed on his Twitter the probable future of game tables in Las Vegas casinos:

These precautionary measures from gambling establishments received the mixed reactions from the players.

Some argue that such measures don’t protect against coronavirus, however, they can slow its spread. Other players even started joking about this on Twitter:

One of the players proposed two dealers at the table: one dealer for the cards’ dealing, and the second one – for disinfection of all the necessary equipment.
