The outcome of the $10 000 Seven-Card Stud tournament at the WSOP 2019 promised to be bright since there were owners of several bracelets at the final table. The only player who has not won the trophy yet was Mikhail Semin.
Despite the Russian entered the final table having the shortest stack, Mikhail managed to finish 4th. As a result, Semin won $73 800 and this is his second cash at the WSOP 2019.
Next, Daniel Negreanu and John Hennigan quickly dealt with David Baker and left him behind the tournament. Two poker players, each of whom had 5 bracelets won in their careers, met in heads-up. A few hours later, the owner of six such awards was determined.
At the beginning, Negreanu had an advantage in the stack, but soon, Hennigan start winning pot by pot and came forward. No matter how hard Negreanu tried, he didn’t manage to win this confrontation and the Canadian became a tournament runner-up.
