Chris Moorman ends up third in PokerStars Sunday Million

Chris Moorman 2020

We know from social media that Chris Moorman is now in Mexico, playing the WSOP Online at GGPoker. The well-known poker player has even made a bet with his wife Katie on who can win more gold bracelets.

Chris came close to winning a WSOP 2020 bracelet in the WSOP #58 worth $5 000. But, following the results of the event, Moorman ended up as a runner-up and lost the bracelet to less experienced Ravid Garbi from Israel.

The player manages to play not only the World Series of Poker events but also Sunday tournaments at PokerStars. For example, on August 17, Chris made it to the Sunday Million finals, which again attracted a lot of attention from the poker community. For those who don't want to miss any of the details, there's a full video of the Sunday Million final table:

The final table, as is often the case, was international, meaning it featured residents of different countries: Brazil, UK, Canada, Czech Republic, and others. One of the Brazilian players eventually became the Sunday Million champ.

The Belarusian player with the "GAMEGOU" nickname was the first to leave the final table. The ninth place brought him $8 330 in prize money, but it certainly wasn't the result that GAMEGOU wanted to achieve.

He was followed by the players from Brazil (8th place and $11 500), Ukraine (7th place and $15 900), and Russia (6th place and $22 000). Then, five finalists continued to fight for the top prize.

Chris Moorman was the most popular and experienced player at the final table, but this didn’t help him win the tournament. The guy lacked a bit of luck to take it down, so he ended up in third place and received $58 000 in prize money. It’s rather a small amount, considering that Moorman has won over $8 000 000 throughout his entire career playing at PokerStars. But, taking a look at his total online winnings in all poker rooms, then this figure is even bigger: more than $16.3 million.

After the Brazilian and the Czech got rid of the main threat on their path to the victory, they continued to measure their strength in the heads-up. The Brazilian player with the "matheusttcm" screen name won that short battle, taking the top prize of $101 436.
