Lex Veldhuis took down the Sunday Warm-Up
Sunday Warm-Up is one of the most popular PokerStars Sunday events, which regularly attracts more than a thousand users to the game table because the prize money is juicy and the winner may apply for a five-digit amount.
This time a $215 tournament was held with a guarantee of $175 000, which was easily exceeded due to the registration of 1 069 participants.
Lex Veldhuis, one of the most popular poker streamers, won the Sunday Warm-Up and got $34 690 for the first place. His opponent in the final heads-up was famous British player Jonathan “Proudflop” Proudfoot. The guy took second place and $24 942 as prize money.
Even though it wasn't Lex’s biggest win during a stream but the player was very happy to finish first. He thanked everyone for the massive support by means of a post on his Twitter:
