Konnikova parts ways with PokerStars
Poker players continue to leave PokerStars Team Pro. In a week after Boeree and Kurganov stated about leaving PokerStars, the writer and poker player Maria Konnikova did the same, by writing the message about it on her Twitter.
It's been a fun two years, but it's time to say goodbye! Today, I'm parting ways with @pokerstars. But that doesn't mean I'm parting ways with poker! My new book will be out in 2020, and I'm looking forward to continuing to promote this beautiful game in the months to come. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/gJD8KJBlc8— Maria Konnikova (@mkonnikova) November 20, 2019
The poker community started talking about Konnikova at the beginning of 2018, when she won PCA National Championship. It became known that Maria enlisted Erik Seidel's support and began to write a poker book by trying to pass her way from a novice to professional player based on her personal experience. Since then, the girl managed to earn over $200 000 by means of poker.

In June 2018, Maria became PokerStars ambassador and believed that such cooperation would give her an opportunity to bring the game to a new level and would help in writing the book.
