King's Casino will resume its work in Rozvadov on 11 May
At the beginning of March, WHO informed about the beginning of pandemic and spread of COVID-19 in many countries around the world. The casinos started to close in all corners of the world, which led to the huge financial losses for gambling establishments.
The Czech Republic was no exception and King's Casino in Rozvadov closed its doors to visitors on 3 April. Together with casino, the other similar establishments were closed and the Czech Republic was left without live poker.
A month has passed since then and the number of new cases of COVID-19 infection has noticeably decreased. After that, the authorities began to weaken quarantine measures. On 1 May, King's Casino announced its opening in press release:
Some days ago, the Czech Republic weakened the quarantine measures after a drop in the number of new cases of infection. From now on, the Czech Republic lifted the ban on traveling abroad and allowed assembling in groups of more than ten people.
The owner of King's Casino Leon Tsoukernik said that the closed casinos cost him as much as their opening. Leon looks forward to the resuming of their work in order to meet the guests.
The situation forces to make some changes in the rules of visiting the casino. Several procedures will be carried out in order to reduce the risk of infection by the virus.
The owner of King's Casino states that their gambling establishment will operate in a mode of maintaining the strict hygiene, including the hand disinfection by means of special disinfectants, as well as constant disinfection of the casino hall.
