King's Casino is preparing to reopen on November 30

King's Casino in Rozvadov

In the summer, the King's Casino in Rozvadov resumed poker tournaments but again closed its doors to visitors in early November. All because of the rapid growth in new Covid-19 cases in the Czech Republic.

The gambling establishment was closed for more than a month. The other day, it was reported that the King's Casino would reopen on November 30. This means that its visitors will be able to buy food and drinks, play casino games and place bets at the poker tables.

Currently, there are no poker tournaments on the schedule yet, but they should appear in the near future. Let us recall that the WSOP organizers announced to hold another Main Event. Thus, 9 finalists will play the ME final table at the King's Casino in Rozvadov.

The fact that the casino gets back to business became good news for many poker players, but some people were concerned. For example, a Twitter user nicknamed BigBen999 asked whether the King's owners were confident that the casino would really open, which is no surprise because the country is suffering from the coronavirus epidemic and the number of new cases is still high.

The King's Casino announced an intention to resume its operation on Twitter:

The gambling establishment pledged to follow government guidelines and recommendations provided by the Ministry of Health. Casinos across Europe are suffering financially due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Gambling operators in England have been forced to reduce staff, and some poker rooms will never reopen. If the King's Casino becomes a fully operational establishment after reopening, then Rozvadov will become the only island of gambling in all of Europe.
