Justin Bonomo won Triton Poker London Main Event 2019
American poker player Justin Bonomo won another prestigious trophy. He managed to win on Triton Poker London Main Event 2019 and earned £2,670,000.
Justin Bonomo started this month as top 1 in All Time Money List, because last year he won $25,000,000 and it allowed him to calmly hold the first line. However, Bryn Kenney surprised everyone and beat Justin in the list of the most profitable players.
After yesterday's tournament, Justin got a little bit closer to the new leader and he has every chance to retake the lead for himself this year. £2,670,000 is a good result and there will be many expensive tournaments this year, so we are waiting for an exciting race between Bonomo and Kenny.
His main rival was not Kenny, but Wai Kin Yong in Triton Poker London Main Event 2019. The poker player from Malaysia has already won the large tournament in this series for £100,000, but this time the event was carried out with a short deck.
“The hardest part was three handed. There was a very big pay jump from third to second and we were all aware of that. The big stack, whoever it was, just tried to put on the pressure. There were a lot of very tough bets made on the turn, especially by Wai Kin.”
