Italian players are prohibited to visit King's Casino in Rozvadov

King's Casino

King's Casino located in Rozvadov (Czech Republic) closed its doors to Italian poker players. The owners of the gambling establishment took such a decision after the first cases of coronavirus were registered in Prague.

The casino representatives reasoned that they wanted to protect the health of their visitors and to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. In addition, the hotel reservations made by the Italian visitors’ were also cancelled.

The ban affected players from Italy, since the largest number of cases of coronavirus beyond the bounds of Asia was recorded exactly in this country. It’s known that 2 263 Italian people fell ill with coronavirus, 79 of which unfortunately died.

The prohibition to visit the casino for Italian players has already entered into force. The owners of gambling establishment believe that the situation will stabilize in two months. This is evidenced by the schedule of events at King's Casino.

Following the above-mentioned announcement by the Czech casino, the Director of Operations at the Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) Tom Brady said that the Malta Poker Championship festival, which was due to take place in May, was also canceled.
