Irish Poker Open is to be held online at Partypoker

Irish Open 2020 is to be held online

Now many poker series are postponed to other dates or canceled altogether due to coronavirus danger. But sometimes there is a possibility to find a better decision – and to go online.

That’s how the situation will be with Irish Poker Open 2020. Partypoker is glad to inform that this famous poker festival will be held online 6-12th April.

Last week organizers were thinking about the postponement of Irish Open 2020. But in the end they decided to cancel it as a live festival and to hold it completely online.

Players at Partypoker can play the Irish Open Online Series starting 6th April. The Main Event will be held with the promised guarantee of one million euro. It is 40th Anniversary of this poker festival.

McCann from Irish Poker Open thanked Partypoker for “taking the initiative to help ensure Europe’s oldest running Poker Festival goes ahead during these very challenging times”.

Tom Waters, partypoker Managing Director, called an online Irish Open festival “a perfect fit for both event organizers and partypoker”. He added that they as Partypoker are happy and proud to be associated with Europe’s oldest poker festival. Irish Open is a truly unique event and to cancel it would be sad and disappointing.

Information about the complete schedule and satellites will be announced as soon as possible.
