Interactive Twitch-game from PokerStars and Run It Up

Chat Plays Poker

Technologies are developing fast in the world, and thus, poker game is changing as well. The other day, PokerStars and Run It Up have produced a new game called Chat Plays Poker.

The core of the game is that its participants can vote for the action that a poker player must do. Everything will be decided by voting for specific decisions in the played hands. There are no analogues of such a game in the world yet, and hence it seems completely innovative.

Viewers are able not only influence the player’s decision, but also play against Chris Moneymaker, Joe Stapleton and Jesse Fullen.

There are no restrictions concerning participation in this game. The new product will be launched today at 3pm EDT (12pm PDT) on the Twitch channel of PokerStars. The first to play the game is Jason Somerville.

This game will start with a stack of 100BB at 1/1 blinds. To join the game, you need to click on the "vote for decision" button, and then on "turn it on" after the corresponding pop-up appears on the screen of your computer.

Jason will act based on viewers’ voting. The Run It Up demo shows how the game works in this new format:

According to the quote, it’s impossible to play the game from mobile phone, which is, perhaps, the only disadvantage. We’ll find out how interesting such an innovation is today at 3pm EDT (12pm PDT).
