How to withdraw money from PokerStars to Visa card

Withdrawal of funds from PokerStars to Visa

PokerStars provides its users an opportunity to replenish accounts and withdraw funds with the help of various payment systems, including Visa and Visa Electron cards.

It’s not difficult to withdraw money from PokerStars to your Visa card. You can withdraw your funds to any card with the VISA logo, which supports the Credit Fund Transfer (CFT) procedure. You can check the availability of this procedure in the bank where your card was issued.

In order to request a withdrawal of funds from the poker room to Visa bank card, it is necessary that one deposit (minimum) was made via this card over the past six months.

If you deposit and withdraw money for the first time or use exclusively the Visa card for transactions in the poker room, then there should be no problems. But if you previously used other payment systems, please note that, according to the current rules of PokerStars withdrawal policy, the money will be sent to those payment systems from which deposits were previously made. You may find more information about the policy of the poker room regarding the withdrawal of funds on the official website pokerstars.com.

Two prerequisites for withdrawing money to a Visa card

  1. Your Visa card must support CFT.
  2. Before requesting withdrawal of funds to the card, you must deposit money to your PokerStars account with the help of it. If the last time you deposited money using this card was earlier than 6 months ago, then you need to re-deposit money into the poker room account in order to implement the cash out.

After these simple conditions are met, you can easily withdraw money to your Visa card. Your funds will be automatically withdrawn to the Visa account, which was used when making a deposit over the past six months.

You can request the withdrawal to a Visa card through the desktop client of the poker room by selecting card among the proposed payment methods («Cashier menu» - «Cashout»).

You can also use the PokerStars «Quick Deposit» feature for your Visa card. It will give you an opportunity to make deposits instantly, with no need to leave the table during the game. Just check the «Use this account with a quick deposit» box near the Visa card in the cashier of the poker room.

During withdrawal, a special PokerStars system converts funds from US dollars into the currency of the deposit previously processed by the poker room and only after that the money is sent to the card. For conversion, the average market exchange rate at the time of the exchange is used. XE agency provides the value of the currency rate to the poker room. In some cases, a small commission is charged for the conversion.

Please note that PokerStars does not charge any additional fees for using Visa cards, but the bank that issued the card may charge a certain amount of money or interest for withdrawing / receiving funds, so it's better to familiarize with the bank's tariffs for these procedures in advance when issuing the card.

Current withdrawal constraints for Visa:

The minimal withdrawal amount to the card - $100

The maximal withdrawal amount - $6 500

More details can be clarified in the bank.

Timeline for the withdrawal:

PokerStars processes requests for withdrawals via VISA (with CFT support) within 72 hours. It may take 3-10 working days to transfer money to your account.

Should you have any questions about the PokerStars withdrawal policy (or you need help regarding this issue), please contact the poker room support at support@pokerstars.com.

In order to get information regarding the support of CFT procedure, current tariffs for performing various financial operations, as well as other questions concerning the operation of your Visa card, contact the bank where the card was issued.
