GGPoker donated $355 000 to people affected by Covid-19

GGPoker donated money

The poker community managed to raise $257 853 as part of WSOP Event #34 Every 1 for COVID Relief. GGPoker added another $96 903 to this amount, and as a result $354 756 was donated to help the victims of Covid-19.

2 323 players took part in WSOP tournament and each donated $111 from the buy-in to Caesars charity fund. The Foundation provides assistance to people affected by coronavirus epidemic.

GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu was present at the time of giving a check to the charity fund. He stated that international poker community became active in such difficult times, and GGPoker helped to push the effort forward. According to Daniel’s words, they are happy to be a part of those people who change situation for the better, and they will continue to raise funds for charity.

We remind you that flagship WSOP series, which usually took place in Las Vegas, is held online at GGPoker this year. The series format was changed due to coronavirus epidemic, however the players got opportunity to win a gold bracelet online for the first time in history.
