GGPoker banned 40 players and confiscated $1 135 000

GGPoker banned 40 players

In September, a scandal with Fedor Kruse erupted in the poker community. The poker player was accused of using GTO solver in real time.

To ensure that his actions were not noticed, Kruse used two monitors, two mice and two computers. However, the secret turned out to be clear after the roommates snitched Kruse.

RTA (GTO using in real time) is a fairly young phenomenon in online poker and GGPoker has become the first one to declare a fight against this method.

Some days ago, the poker room banned 40 dishonest players and confiscated from them $1 175 305 of funds. All this money have been won unfairly and the funds will be returned to the accounts of the affected players.

Another 40 players got a warning concerning the solvers’ using. GGPoker announced that they have their own methods by which they detect RTA using. GGPoker representatives stated that an increase in the amount of data analysis processed became a part of their new approach. The security service painstakingly works on the analysis of poker hands based on the special algorithms, which have been developed with the help of the world's strongest poker players. Their ideas continually contribute to the process development. Thanks to them, it is possible to determine violations.

According to GGPoker, they can distinguish situations in which the poker player plays with the help of GTO or by using RTA in real time. With the help of hand replayer, the players can independently inform the security service about unscrupulous persons.
