GGNetwork poker tournaments take place with big overlays

GGNetwork

In spring, the coronavirus epidemic and the subsequent quarantine caused a boom in online poker. However, the situation has changed a little, and we no longer see that burst of activity, which was fixed two months ago. It’s not surprising, as poker traffic in most rooms traditionally decreases in summer.

The most telling examples are Sunday events in poker rooms that belong to the GGNetwork, including GGPoker. On June 21, the room hosted flagship tournaments, and three of them took place with an overlay. There weren’t enough registrations to cover the claimed guarantee, but nonetheless, GGPoker is not going to reduce it.

GG Masters and Multi Million$

GG Masters, which runs on Sundays, has a guarantee of $500 000, but these events often are often held with overlays. So it happened last weekend: there were 3 289 entries, resulting in an overlay of $46 000.

Observing the GGPoker tactics, it can be assumed that the poker room might even increase the guarantee in the near future, as was done in the past. This is a great opportunity for those who want to get additional value.

Two Multi Millions tournaments also took place with overlays. In total, the room went into the red for $216 000 after transferring payouts to players who entered the ITM zone of these events.

GGPoker had to add as much as $183 000 to the High Roller MILLION$ guarantee, which was previously set at the mark of $2 000 000. The operator also lost $33 000 in the Global MILLION$ event with $1 000 000 GTD.

If you haven’t yet created an account at GGPoker, then it's a good time to register in this poker room. The platform offers you generous bonuses, overlays, big prize money and the opportunity to win a WSOP bracelet.
