EAPT Montenegro was canceled and MILLIONS Cyprus was postponed due to coronavirus

The series was postponed or canceled due to coronavirus

This year, the schedule of the popular poker series was changed due to coronavirus outbreak.

In mid-February, the specialist of WPT Live Event Danny McDonagh announced about cancellation of WPT Vietnam series and postponement of WPT Taiwan for a three-month period.

Some days ago, the organizers of Triton Poker Series were forced to cancel the first stage in Jeju for the same reason.

However, EAPT Montenegro organizers decided to cancel the summer series which was supposed to start on June 6. The fact that Montenegro is geographically close to Italy, where the largest number of people infected with Covid-2019 virus in Europe (according to the latest data), became the reason of series cancelation.

MILLIONS Cyprus series was also supposed to start in May, but the organizers decided to postpone it until September. However, its exact date is not yet known.

The European stage of WPT Barcelona without guarantees (March 22 – April 5) will be held on the agreed dates. You can transfer buy-ins from WPT Passport to another series stage if you write to PartyPoker LIVE support.
