British player turned €5 into €53,000 in Unibet Open Main Event
The various poker festivals are often held in the autumn in Malta. At this time, there is a nice weather on the island where you can hide from rapidly coming autumn. In addition, you can earn several tens of thousands of euros for the victory in the tournament, as British player Alan Carr did.
Unibet Open Malta series finished and Alan became its winner. He was selected to the tournament through a satellite for €5. Carr won €50 in the first stage, then – €250, and after that he managed to win a ticket to Main Event.
On the wave of success, he entered the top 3 and made a deal with Italian and Romanian players. After that, they continued to fight for the title and additional €5,100. Carr managed to take the first place and turned €5 into €50,000.
