Austrian player won High Roller Tournament at WPT Online
In early March, we wrote that in May, PartyPoker would host the WPT Online series with a total guarantee of $15 000 000, which is usually held live.
The High Roller tournament with a $5 200 buy-in and a$1 000 000 guarantee has been carried out as part of this series.
The event gathered a field of 225 players, which helped to beat the claimed guarantee for $125 000.
The winner of the tournament was the poker player performing under the flag of Austria – Pascal Hartmann, whose payout for the first place amounted to $205 800.
The Bulgarian poker player Dimitar Danchev became the runner-up of the event and earned $190 060 for finishing second.
The 5th place was taken by the popular Belarusian poker player Mikita Badziakouski, who added another $61 870 to his earnings. Famous Canadian female poker player Kristen Bicknell was only able to take the 6th place in this tournament, having received $47 250 in prize money.
Wiktor Malinowski, who managed to get into the top 3 winners in two tournaments within one day during the Poker Masters series, eliminated from the High Roller Tournament just before Kristen Bicknell and earned $34 870.
Another Canadian poker professional Daniel Dvoress stopped at the 7th place and was awarded with $20 000 for his play.
