The American celebrities often take part in the poker tournaments with the aim to raise funds for charity.

At the beginning of March, two actors who starred in the legendary trilogy “Back to the Future” held a charity poker tournament.  

Some days ago, the American poker room ACR held a charity online tournament, in which the Hollywood actors, athletes, poker players and other celebrities took part.

This tournament was held with the support “Feeding America” organization. This organization brings together over 200 food banks, which provide more than 46 million people with food.

Among the star players, the following celebrities should be noted: Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Tobey Maguire, Adam Sandler, as well as the stars of TV series "Breaking Bad" Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, and also the legends of poker Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth and six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.    

The given tournament was characterized as an entertaining event. Instead of a bounty, the American celebrities became the target for the poker pros. All for the sake of praise, and not for money.

Each of the celebrities paid $10 000 buy-in and the poker room added another million dollars. According to the preliminary calculation, over $2 000 000 were raise for charity.
